In the figure attached, if PR is a line segment, what is the sum of the lengths of the curved paths from P to Q and from Q to R ?

(1) XQ = QY = 5 centimeters.
(2) Every point on arc PQ is 5 centimeters from point X, and every point on arc QR is 5 centimeters from point Y.

I think this is a pretty easy question but for some reason OA is not matching.... Just wanna make sure that I am not doing any stupid mistake.

from 1 we do not know that the figures are semi-cercles.
from 2, they are semi-cercicles.

We are looking for the radius.

1. xq=xy=5 we do not know the distance from p-x y-r( insufficient)

2. since every point from y and x are 5 cms away we can find the circum( sufficent)

I have to go with, "B"

from 1: even if they are circles, it is not known that x and y are centers of those semi-circles.
