Given, m||k and s = t + 30

We have, s+t=180 (m||k; hence alternate angles are equal)
Or, t+30+t=180
Or, 2t=150
Or, t=75

Ans. (C)

Since the lines are ||
s + t = 180 (Property of angles of parallel lines)
s = t + 30 (Given)

Substituting the value:
t + 30 + t = 180
2t = 150
t = 75

Hence, C.

s = t+30.

So,

t+t+30 = 180

2t = 150

t = 75.

Thus the best answer is C.
