I am just wondering how we know that -5 is the 81st term. we cannot obviously check it manually is there any way to know that?

What would be the 6th term?
How about the 9th?
How about the 12th?
15th?
Etc.?
How about any term that is a multiple of 3?
81 is a multiple of 3.
