IMO : E

Since 81 is a multiple of 3 , the value of the 81st term should be -5 as per below

First term -2
Second term 3
Third term -5

So the sequence of numbers from 81st to 85th terms are -5 , -2, 3 ,-5 and -2

The product is 300. Hence E

81st term will be (3 * 27 pairs) = -5

Then three terms: -2 , 3 , -5

85th term: -2

Product: (-5) * (-2) * (3) * (-5) * (-2) = 300

Hi,

I am just wondering how we know that -5 is the 81st term. we cannot obviously check it manually is there any way to know that?

What would be the 6th term?
How about the 9th?
How about the 12th?
15th?
Etc.?
How about any term that is a multiple of 3?
81 is a multiple of 3.
