let suppose k=1,
so $$x+3y = 6$$
now plug in each option in this equation to verify.
only option B (0,2) satisfies this equation.

Kudos for a correct solution.

Since k is multiplied by x, you know that it will only affect the "m" value in y=mx+c. The only value that is indifferent to the value of k is the y-intercept since x=0 and hence regardless of what k is it will multiply by 0. Hence B (0,2)
