Stmt 1: x = 50, Angle BAC = 50, since AB = BC, Angle ACB = 50, y can be found to be 180-100 = 80 deg, Hence Suff.

Stmt 2: z = 130, Angle ACB = 50, since AB - BC, Angle BAC = 50, y can be found to be 180-100 = 80 deg, Hence Suff.

Statement 1: x= 50 so Angle BAC = 50
and AB = BC
Therefore angle ACB = 50
Sum of all the angles of a triangle is 180
BAC + ACB + ABC = 180
100 + y = 180
y = 80
Sufficient

Statement 2: z = 130 then ACB = 50 ( supplementary angles)
AB = BC then ACB = BAC = 50
Now, y + ACB + BAC = 180
y = 80
Sufficient
