In what ratio must a person mix three kinds of tea costing Rs.60/kg, Rs.75/kg and Rs.100 /kg so that the resultant mixture when sold at Rs.96/kg yields a profit of 20%? (1) 1 : 2 : 4 (2) 3 : 7 : 6 (3) 1 : 4 : 2 (4) None of these

I do not see any smart way except to assess every possible answers, considering :

96 = (60A+75B+100C)/(60+75+100)

sells at profit of 20%
1.2(96)=80

A=60kg. B=75kg, c=100kg

Qa:Qc=100-80/80-60= 1/1

Qb:Qc= 100-80/80-75=4/1

qc= 1+1=2
