Hi Jon,
Could you please provide me some detail information on the big Real Estate companies(names, what percentage they recruit etc.) in US,recruiting from top 20 b-Schools out there...?
What is the average package for these firms for fresh top 20 b-Schools grads in US?

What is the reasonable and expected salary growth 3-5 years down the line with these firms?

How do your see the growth prospects of these firms and career growth with them as compared to big Consultancy firms? (If comparable to any extent at all...)

Much appreciate your feedback on this.

Wow! Lots of questions, and to be honest to answer some of them (like the last one) I'd have to have economic prophecy skills!!! :) Which unfortunately I do not yet posses. (I'm working on it though). And to get the best answers actually you will need to look at the schools on a school by school basis (their employment reports and recruiter firms) But let's say that from Top 10 schools you can expect a salary on average of about 100-120K I would say.

To have a look at recruiters, it changes from school to school and region to region, but essentially you find all the usual suspects. Take a look here for Columbia (which is considered one of the best, if not the best RE program in the US): http://www8.gsb.columbia.edu/realestate ... /placement

For growth stats, look here: http://www.inc.com/inc5000/list/2012/in ... ate/x/rank

Hope this helps!!!!

Hey Jon,
Thanks for your reply! As your interests include Real Estate (or used to be such :) ),it would be really great if you can share your thoughts from your experiences that how the US RE market works actually.

Look forward to your response!
