I've noticed that the GMAT enhanced score report has been enhanced, which I guess makes it a double-enhanced score report. :-D

There are 2 additional pages, one for each of the main sections: Verbal and Quant.

The additional sections of the enhanced score report show 3 pieces of information

1. The percentage of questions answered correct/incorrect for each quarter of the section.

2. The average difficulty of each quarter of the section.

3. The average time spent per response for each quarter of the section, broken down by incorrect/correct response.

And the great news is, if you have ordered an enhanced score report in the past when the report did not contain this new information, you can request access to your enhanced score report again, and your new enhanced score report will show the 2 additional pages. I have just requested my "double-enhanced" score report and find it super helpful.

Looks like the new enhanced score report is still in beta testing, so I'm not sure if it is available to everybody. But I think it's worth a try.

Hope this helps.

I just took my gmat this week. I didn't realize this was a "new" report - I found this report to be helpful, but I wish there was a bit more of a quant break-down. My numbers are similar to mvictor and HKD1710 - I just didn't finish strong and therefore I scored a 47.

File comment: It would have been nice to see more of a break-down of the quant than just "Arithmetic" and "Algebra/Geometry", but then again, the more you break it down the harder it is to infer meaningful info from a small sample, so I'm not sure it would have really helped much.

One thing that can be gleaned from the ESR data is that the quant section does indeed have 9 experimental questions and the verbal has 11 experimental questions. These numbers were what I had seen mentioned for the longest time, but this is the first time it is being confirmed by official data.

Why do you think there are 9 and 11 experimental Qs in quant and verbal?

Because 2,2,2,3 are the numbers needed for the percentages to make sense for the Quant divisions.
2+2+2+3=9
2,3,3,3 are the numbers for Verbal.
2+3+3+3=11

Does this make sense?

the pie - average of time for all questions (ex. 12 minutes for 9 questions => 12min/9).
blue - average of time for all correct questions
red - average of time for all incorrect questions.

Im afraid I still dont get. :(

Continuing your ex. the person would have spent 1min 20sec on an average. Now if the pie chart shows 50-50% red and blue, do you mean she/he spent 40 secs on avg on correct and incorrect questions?

You do not have to assume this. when you move the cursor over the red and blue part you see the individual average time. this will happen only when you open the ESR with the provided link. the same will not happen after to save the report as a pdf.

Hello, I would just like to add my ESR. I scored a 780 overall with a 51Q and 48V. I had not originally planned on ordering it considering my score, but felt it may be useful data for those who are wanting to know what it takes to receive a high score. Plus, I was quite curious!

best,

Only 1 question wrong in verbal and V48 for only 1 wrong and that too the difficulty is off the charts(literally ), I thought at least 790 would be the result of this.

what do you guys think?

Yes, that's correct--we have learned from his ESR that only 1 wrong on Verbal can drop you down to 48/51. I think that the only way to score a 790 is to get a 51/51 (100% correct) on Verbal, because a perfect 51 on Verbal is much less common than is a perfect 51 on Quant. Also, let's congratulate lin11 on being only 1 question away from a perfect 800! Amazing job.

strange thing though with verbal
V38
first part 62%
second part 57%
third part 71%
fourth part 62%

mine 30:
1st - 62%
2nd - 71%
3rd - 86%
4th - 62%

although I was better of overall, I got a lower score.
I really don't understand why getting to the hard verbal questions is so hard, even though you answer questions correctly...
