Anyone else still waiting? Anyone whose coordinator is IR?

Don't be disappointed. If you are waitlisted that means you are good enough to be admitted. Someone (with the similar profile) just beat you to the punch. I recommend:
Plan A
- Send them a thank you email saying that you are excited to be still in consideration
- explicitly state that if admitted, you will attend.
- send the 3rd recommendation letter. If you can get it from an Alumni then it will be perfect. Make sure the recommender is "enthusiastic".
- Update the admissions team if there has been any significant (and positive) changes to your profile. Like winning an award, being promoted, admitted to another school but Insead is you first choice, passing a language exam, travelling to another country etc. Anything positive.
- send reasonably intermittent reminders (every 2 weeks) that you are still looking forward to joining Insead

Plan B
- Ask to be taken off the wait list and apply in Round 1 of the next intake.

I know it is easy for me rhyme off bullet points when you are the one going through more heartwrenching waiting. But this is what I was planning to do if wait listed.

I'm also waiting, although I'm mentally preparing myself for bad news tomorrow

Anyone else out there with VM as their coordinator and hasn't heard back? I'm based in Canada and I think they did a wave of Canadian acceptances yesterday.

I seriously appreciate the advice and consolation. Unfortunately I'm not in a good place to wait an additional 9 months for another intake and also can't wait until October as I've already had my PlanB acceptance deadline extended. INSEAD was definitely my #1 but I believe in my abilities and trust God and thus it truly doesn't matter in the end where I go. Unless my PlanB crashes & burns (possible) or a miracle happens, I won't have the chance to meet any of you (totally happy for you all though!). Anyhow, I've emailed adcom this info in additional to the promotion I just received (changed from ops mgmt to fin mgmt). You never know but regardless, I wish you all the best!!

Accepted! Got a call from CT on Thursday (9/6) morning at about 8.15am EST.

My profile is American (but ethnically Indian)/ Male / Age 24/ 4 years work exp./ 3.0 GPA / 720 / Consulting (MBB)

anyone on the US west coast receive a call? The time difference doesn't overlap with working hours in paris so I'm wondering if they will stay past 5pm to make calls.

Just got a call an hour ago from AN: starting in Fonty!
So today it won't be all dinges!

That was too close for comfort.. Just got the call from SH.. Made it !! Yayy!

Exhausted, Relieved, Overwhelmed, Thrilled and Delighted.. in that order..

M/ 31/ Indian/ 740/ WE 9 yrs in sales mgmt, mktg across fin services & healthcare..

Starting in fonty.. Looking forward to 2013 !

For all those anxiously awaiting calls.. hang in there guys! The call took just under a minute.. there is atleast 480 min left for that call to happen.. Good Luck !
