Re: interpreting gmat scores [#permalink]
the scaled scores (22, 29, etc) convert to the 800 score scale in a way that is abmiguous at best. the GMAC (the body that administers the GMAT) doesn't release their scoring algorithm to anyone outside, including 3rd party test preps. As such, scores you get from different test schools aren't directly comparable.

Keep calm, GMAT on!

Re: interpreting gmat scores [#permalink]
The 33 could be out of 35 possible questions and be the highest score in the class, or it could be out of 100 possible points and be the lowest score, or anywhere in between. The score that is given is called a raw score.
