If you get double dinged - and I'm out here praying for you man - what do you think the issue might be? How were your essays?

I think i dont have extra curricular activities after college
just too many of them

also an inbalanced profile where I had enormous public speaking credentials as an undergrad and suddenly after college all that disappeared.

with 6 years in Indian IT I am just a tech lead where as my counterparts have become managers so I am possibly a below average candidate in the fiercely competetive Indian IT pool

:x

but My gmat is 730 . I thought and with bot the schools interviewing 50% of applicants at least i would get a call. I know one girl with 710 GMAt last year from my company much junior to me in designation and years of experience got a call from Wharton

I think my essays are good (at least i think)

God only knows

PM me an essay or two, let me have a peek and I'll tell you (privately) what I think. Ideally, send one "package" (that is, all of one school).

I know why. We can fix this together for R2. Don't despair. It's going to take me a while to type up what I need to type up, but I will do so today if I can.

venky, sorry to hear you got dinged from GSB. I think rhyme has offered you some free feedback and I was wondering if you could possibly share some of his feedback here, so that we can learn from your mistakes. I know its a tough pill to swallow, but I think we can learn from each other's mistakes.

BTW, I am also still waiting for my Wharton invite. Don't think it's coming.
