Hello,
I gave GMAT last month and kind of holed up with a score of 670(Q50 V31 IR7), got nervous and burntout in verbal, surely can do better. I am a civil (structural) engg post grad with both bachelors and masters from IIT Kanpur.
Work Exp 5+ yrs. My profile is a bit unique as I am currently working with Central Government in a corporate (private) environment as my company is a knowledge partner to Government. I've been complete in-charge of a couple of $450bn projects and I can get excellent recommendations from senior level Government (read IAS) officers and partners at BCG.
I intend to pursue an MBA and SETTLE DOWN in Australia, Singapore or Canada (not US. open to any other suggestions). I've shortlisted MBS, AGSM, Rotman, NUS and I'm being told by many people that your GMAT score won't matter much if you've got strong recommendations and essay.
My question is whether my score coupled with my profile is good enough for getting in these universities with scholarship or do I really need to give another go at GMAT to beef up my chances.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you.
