Tanichi - All forms of official questions - official guides, GMAT Prep practice tests, and GMAT Prep question banks - are an accurate representation of GMAT in terms of favor and difficulty level. Practicing official questions in most cases is sufficient. For the Quant section, you may need to practice a few more questions. You should try GMAT Club Test Center, the next best thing to official questions.

Hi Tanichi,

To start, if your Official GMAT is in less than a week, then you should NOT try to do too much studying at this point (so NO "cramming"). Depending on the exact Test Date, you might have time to take one more FULL-LENGTH practice CAT, but no more than one. You would be better served by getting some extra rest (as opposed to 'burning out' by doing too much last-minute studying), so that you can go into Test Day calm, clear-headed and ready to work.

While quizzes and practice sets are nice ways to test your general skills, there's no way to 'translate' those performances to how you might perform on the Official GMAT. The only practical way to get that type of data is to take a FULL-LENGTH CAT under realistic testing conditions.

While you are close to your Exam, I would like to know a bit more about how you've been studying and your goals:

1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
4) What is your overall goal score?

Hi Tanichi,

Have you taken any official practice exams to get a baseline score? If not, could you do so, and then report back with your score breakdown?
