It could be a pentagon also!!

A regular Pentagon also have same sides and equal diagonals.

Don't they have all four sides equal ?

I am not sure about the length of the diagonal, but I know the diagonals are perpendicular..

Any thoughts ?

I would go with E.

a)Sides having same length - Square,Parallelogram,Rhombus
b)Diagonals having same length-Square,Rhombus

Diagonals of a Rhombus are not equal. Square is a special kind of Rhombus whose diagnols are equal.

Thanks ps_dahiya. Clarified with rhombus.

Now the statements can interpreted as

Statement 1 : Square or Parallelogram or Rhombus
Statement2: Square or rectangle

Combining both gives Square go with C.
