S1. n(XnY) = 0.2n(Y) insufficient.
S2. n(XnY) = 0.3n(X) insufficient.

Combine S1 and S2.
0.2n(Y) = 0.3n(X)
n(Y) = 1.5n(X)

n(X) < n(Y) = 1.5n(X) thus sufficient.(n(X) and n(Y) are positive integers)

Stem Is n(x) > n(y)

(1) x=100, y=80(20 from x) -> n(x) > n(y)

or x= 100, y=120(20 from x) --> n(y) > n(x)

Insuff BCE

(2) y=100, x=70(30 are from y) -> n(y) > n(x)
y= 100, x=130(30 are from y) -> n(x) > n(y)

I'm guessing E. At 20% & 30%, there is no indication for the size relation between the two clubs.

let there be Z number of members common to both
hence,
St 1 alone : Insuff.

St 2 alone : Insuff

Together
20% of X = Z = 30 % of Y
X/Y= 3/2 > 1
