(1) a > 2b
(2) a > b > 2

(1) a > 2b
if b=10 a=21
then range highest no. - smallest no.= 21-2=19>8...yes
but if b=3 , a=7 then range =7-2=5<8...........No
not suff
(2) same example as above
not suff

combined also same example as (1)..not suff

(1) a > 2b
(2) a > b > 2

1) if b=10, a=21 ==> Range=21-2=19
if b=2, a=5 ==>range=5-2=3
Not sufficient

2) a=4, b=3 ,4>3>2 Range=5-2=3
a=20,b=5, 20>5>2 Range=20-2=18
Not sufficient

1+2) We don't have a limit on the superior number , so a could be any number.
a>2b>2 ==> a=7,b=3, 7>6>2 Range =7-2=5
OR a=18, b=3, 18>6>2 Range=18-2=16
Not sufficient
