Just finished GmatPrep 2 and that seems like an unusually high amount of DS???

There is not a predetermined amount of questions in the quant area. that seems reasonable for a ballbark though (according to kaplan.)

Although I am not that expert to answer your question, I would like to share that this ( what you have written ) is not the always-case in GMAT. The breakdowns can't be predicted too precisely. The most you can forecast is that you may end up facing breakdown close to what you wrote ( +/- 10% ).

For me, if DS dominates more in the quant section, I would have a tough time.

In Quant, the more the level of toughness you attain the more the number of DS questions you shall receive. Its a generalization though.

Happy solving.

Preparation neya shuru hoye gechhe! I think, it's going good.

Got a query after seeing you profile. You joined GMATClub.com exactly two years back with posts-count 569. But, I don't see any actual GMAT score there in your profile. Frankly, is it something that you are still in prep mode? Or, you are done with GMAT?
