Price of flour per pound= $$\frac{w}{x}$$
Qty of flour required to make 1 cake= $$\frac{1}{y}$$

Total cost of flour required to make 1 cake= $$\frac{w}{x}$$*$$\frac{1}{y}$$
=$$\frac{w}{xy}$$

Kudos please if you like my explanation!
