Choosing a model airplane excludes the possibility of choosing a doll, and choosing a doll excludes the possibility of choosing a model airplane. There are a total of 25 toys in the box, but only 12 of them are either model airplanes or dolls, so

P(model airplane or doll) = P(model airplane) + P(doll)

P(model airplane or doll) = 7/25 + 5/25 = 12/25

Total Toys = 13+7+5 = 25

Total Toys that are either a Model Airplane or a Doll = 7+5 = 12

Required Probability = 12/25
