combine 3*0.8+3*.4 = 3.6mb ~ 2.5 disks
3*1.2= 3.6
total 3 disks where 1 file of .8 & .4mb is loaded
12*(.7+.4) = 13.2 mb
9*1.44 = 12.96 mb so 10 disks required

total disks 3+10 = 13
IMO B
