I am having a lot of dificulty in reading through the sentence

And if i do so then it takes up a lot of time, and then the question gets overwhelming

Remove all the modifiers you can.

In whole Sentence Underline there should be major structure differences between the choices.

But if I remove the modifiers in the above sentence then I will be mostly left with nouns only

I don’t have a silver bullet recommendation. Complete sentence underlines are harder just because you have to digest the entire sentence and spot mistakes. Reading a lot of hard long sentences infection helped me to train my ear to catch things that sound unnatural. She seems to be the best option for me as well 🤷‍♂️

I went about reading 5 answer choices, but not digesting or comprehending anything which was time consuming and confidence shattering as well

ok. It’s OK to Make mistakes by the way and it’s totally fine to accept them and to be honest about it. That’s what all the smart people do they want to learn from their mistakes.


The mistake in the original sentence is that the introductory clause has to be followed by a noun or either the subject of the sentence but it was followed by additional extra information…. The subject is not New Brunswick. The subject is Maine. That should’ve followed the introductory clause. The original sentence is already very dirty with three layers of modifying clauses but to make it very clear and to show that there is a clear final nail on the coffin, it puts “is the US state of Maine” So you get a verb instead of a subject. This is the template and the structure of these types of sentences. They should have the subject after the introductory clause however long that may be.
