It can be done manually by options.

Take 2 ends. 1st as 0 and 2nd as 900.
Jon runs 25 seconds at 10f/s reaches 650.
Jess runs 25 seconds at 15f/s, reaches 425.

Jon runs 36 seconds at 10f/s, reaches 540.
Jess runs 36 seconds at 15f/s, reaches 540.
Correct option B.

It seems lengthy but doesn't take more than 1 minute, if one's addition and multiplication skills are good.

time taken to meet two bodies travelling towards each other = total distance / (relative speed)
relative speed here is 10+15 = 25 f/s
time = 900/25 = 36
IMO B

They are running each other.
So relative speed equal to 15+10
total distance equal to 900
so time = 900/25
= 36

We can use the following formula:

Jon’s distance + Jess’s distance = total distance

We can let the time they each run = t, and thus:

10t + 15t = 900

25t = 900

t = 36 seconds
