Just as eating a cold banana split on a hot afternoon illuminates for a person the simple pleasures in life -- those that come cheap but run deep -so a traffic jam can remind a person of how many aspects of life are out of one's control.

(A) so a traffic jam can remind a person of how many aspects

(B) so too can a traffic jam remind a person of how many of the aspects

(C) so sitting in a traffic jam can remind a person of how many aspects

(D) sitting in a traffic jam can remind a person of how many aspects

(E) a traffic jam can remind a person of how many aspects

I was stuck between B and C.

I understand why C is correct. But what is wrong with B?

I see two problems with B.

1. It's not parallel with the phrase in the first part, 'eating....'
2. 'too' is redundant
