Re: Just registered - 20 days until exam [#permalink]
If anyone cares, ended up getting bogged down with work, took official practice test two nights before with 760 (49M=85%, 46V=99%), looked at the math review the next day on the plane (first time ever opening the book), took the test today and 760 again (51M=98%, 42V=96%). I was happy enough given the lack of prep, but a bit disappointed with the verbal given my practice exam and LSAT score. My first LSAT practice was 177 and I got 176 after studying, apparently the value added of the review books is questionable.

nice. I think the test was a mere formality for you :)

not sure if the value added is questionable. Probably you would have gotten a 780/90/800 if you did a little more practice. (needless to say, not worth the effort)

good luck for your applications!

Wow, congratulations, kartelite! That's a phenomenal result, and there's absolutely no reason to feel badly about the verbal score. Almost everybody reading this would happily give their left testicle for that GMAT score.

For what it's worth, I'd be willing to bet that you only missed some of the goofy sentence correction questions that cover arbitrary crap that nobody really cares about in real life. No shame in that. And when you have a 760, a few sentence correction errors are completely irrelevant.

Good luck with your applications!
