Re: Kaplan vs Veritas Prep [#permalink]
Hey,

Manhattan GMAT stands out in a couple of ways:

Instructors
We have the most rigorous hiring process in the industry. All of our instructors have a 99th percentile GMAT score, years of teaching experience, go through several rounds of interviews and auditions and over 100 hours of training. Last year we hired only 2% of all applicants and the reason we're able to be so picky is because we pay our instructors $100/hr--up to four times more than what some of our competitors pay. We have a team of stellar instructors who are passionate about teaching the GMAT and we know you'll love learning from them.

Curriculum
Other GMAT test prep programs on the market focus on teachable methods, such as “process of elimination” and "backsolving" techniques. Our GMAT course curriculum is different; it seeks to provide test takers of all levels with content mastery and an organized approach that builds skills for every question type on the exam, including the most advanced content that many other prep companies ignore. Our books are developed by our 99th percentile instructors, have been refined for years and cover everything from the very basics to the most advanced material.

You can attend the first session of most of our courses for free with no obligation--find several now on our website. I encourage you to keep asking around and attend trial classes with a number of companies to find what you like best.

If you have any questions, you can talk to one of our GMAT experts 7 days a week at 212-721-7400 or 800-576-4628. Feel free to email us too at studentservices@manhattangmat.com.

Best of luck,
Matt
