Hello!

My name is Mari and I have been studying for a couple of months for the GMAT. My test is in the middle of January. I am looking to start applying to schools such as USC, UCLA, UCI, Pepperdine and Foster next year. I have been out of college for quite a while and am definitely having trouble getting back to the books. I have also always struggled with math which is killing me! I am looking for any study groups to join as I feel that would help immensely! Helppp!

Hello Everyone,
My name is Muhammad Ismail and I am victim of GMAT's wrath lol. I am currently scheduled to take the GMAT on 23rd of December with target score between 550-600 . You all might laugh at my pathetic targets but considering my current situation 500 looks like a 600 to me now as I am already performing terrible in KAPLAN tests . 440, 480 and guess what ? Another 480. I will post my dilemma on different post. However its refreshing to see many people being supportive and helpful on this forum. I'll be happy to meet you all.

This is Rohit form India and it is going to be my first encounter with GMAT.

Age : 28
Have a Bachelor's degree in IT but never used it professionally. Switched gears right after the graduation and entered Training and Development field and it has been 5 years doing that. I am currently a Senior Trainer in a BPO.

Just a week since I started my GMAT prep.

Strengths - Verbal and Quant gives me a nightmare, at least till now. Signed up for Magoosh and also purchased the Manhattan prep guides.

Hello my name is Julia.

Im new here, honestly I never had to take tests like the GMAT, so this blog is really usefull^^

I live in Belgium and almoust finishing my bachelor degree in applied psychology, I would like to do a master in psychology.
For that I have to take the GMAT test, to be accepted to universities.
The language in Belgium is Dutch, so it will be a challenge to study for the Gmat.

Do someone have tips or tricks? Good handbooks to download etc?.

Hi Julia and welcome to the club. Yes GMAT is a challenging exam but good preparation helps to overcome this difficulty. Moreover, to be accepted to universities you don't need very high result (at least i think). I have a few OG in PDFs and some other GMAT related stuff so you can contact me if you need. I plan to apply for part time MBA towards end of 2016 (2017 intake). I stay in the San Francisco Bay Area and my target schools are Haas, Anderson and Wharton SF. I plan to take GMAT in the summer.

I am new to website and I can't believe how resourceful this website is. I am really glad I stumbled onto this website and I am completely hooked. I plan to start preparing for GMAT in March, until then I will brush up my quant and verbal skills by solving questions on Gmatclub.

Hii guys, I'm Pavan. I enrolled to this forum last month and closely following it. I find it very helpful in practicing questions of varying complexities. Also its very good to see the analysis of answers from different guys which is helping me to see the answer in different dimensions. I'm planning to take the exam in July. I am Vanshika from India. I am currently working in Coca Cola India Pvt Ltd as part of my college's 6 month internship program. I am interning for the IT Dept in sales force automation.
I plan on pursuing MBA next year for which I'll be giving my Gmat around September. My target country is America and like everyone else I also plan to pursue my degree from the top tier colleges.

My concern is my lack of work experience, which is an important criteria for selection in all these colleges.
Also I am a bit messed up and confused as to where to start and how to go about things. Hence I planned to join this forum so that I can find solutions to some of the problems.

My name is Shrinks (a nickname that has stuck for years and i don't know where it came from), Australian/Kenyan, living and working at present in East Africa. Ive had 5 years management consulting experience in Australia, USA and New Zealand, graduated from the University of Melbourne in Arts and Commerce dual degrees.
This is the first time time im taking the GMAT, always had the plan to go to B-School and now i feel ready. Guess my brain needs to jumpstart and i feel ive plateaued professionally so i want to do the MBA and set up a development consulting business in Africa.
Target score is 700+, Ive been practising the GMAT for 3 weeks now and its been slow especially because I live in Mombasa which is a small city in Kenya and there are NO GMAT study groups or resources and I sometimes feel quite demotivated doing this alone..feels like im climbing mt everest on my own! I would like to take the test in July 2016...hoping to find some likeminded people who can help me through the process and i would be happy to also be a virtual study buddy to anyone (if people do that here at all..)

Loving the concept of this group and hearing all your stories..it certainly is motivating me that i'll be learning from very smart minds in the forum. All the best and looking forward to climbing this mountain together!
