I really dont remember guys. it is so tough that i am thinking i misread something. i have reached

1/4*(x/y + y/x) + 1/2 , let me explain how...

** MODERATOR EDIT **

here is what i got

i arrived at the following

(x-y)(x+y)= 4xy
x^2-y^2=4xy
divide by xy
x/y-y/x=4

** MODERATOR EDIT **

find the option closest to the above fraction.

Any other takers?
