I got A.

What about the Native leaders and Joseph Brant are you comparing? --- Having lived in two worlds.

A) Best answer. Compares the fact "Joseph Brant lived in two worlds" to his contemporaries

B) "living" is incorrect as it's past. Use "lived"

D) same error as in B

E) same error as in C

(B) awkward sentence from use of 'living in two worlds'

(C) same problem as B

(D) same prolem as B

(E) 'As with many another' is awkward

A is the best choice.

the purpose of the orginal sentence is two demonstrate what is meant by " living in two worlds" . B and C seem to distort this purpose.
D and E distort the original meaning.

Like over as... Both parts of the sentence, before and after the semicolon, are grammatically correct.
