Attempting plan interviews I have a 640 GMAT and 2.7 GPA with three years quality work experience and am completing "alternate transcript" work to mitigate GPA. Do you view Darden as a legitimate reach or simply to far out of my reach. I realize I didn't give you a lot of info, but I'm looking to ball park for interviews. My strong point is my interpersonal skills, so I do best in front of people. Any help again appreciated, you guys are awesome. Any feedback you could have on the class of 2006 statistics because I know a lot of B-schools saw modest drops in this years incoming class. Thanks.

Barring some diversity factors and truly stellar work experiences, I see Darden as too much of a stretch to recommend a serious application effort. If you retake your GMAT AND present a high GPA post-bac transcript, then maybe Darden would be more feasible, but not so now based on the info you provide above.

Good luck!
