Apparently you have to provide 5 schools that will receive your GMAT score. If you aren't sure how well you will do, should you list the "safety" schools or the "wishful" schools?

I would expect that they should be sent to the safety schools because you may end up applying to them even if you get a high score...

Doesn't matter... because if you retake the test, then all schools will report ALL your test scores anyway, including the first test..

So you are saying that if I write the GMAT again and select 5 different schools, the 5 original schools will also get the second GMAT score?

Yes, this is correct. The schools you submit your 2nd, 3rd, etc. score will be able to see the history of scores from the 1st to the last.

I think it's good that schools you are applying to can see the full history of your GMAT results. If you did bad on your first one and did really good on your last one it can be your WOW factor.
