List of books for RC, CR.

Powerscore LSAT Logic Reasoning, and Critical reasoning are near identical books , with the former covering a few extra topics that are rarely tested on the GMAT (and some that are almost never tested). I was able to pick up a used PS LSAT book in excellent condition and just went over it in about a week. Overall if you are strong in english and logic, CR shouldnt be much of a worry. Reading either book should be Ok. If you are weak in CR and logic, then i see no point in going over the LSAT questions or materials (extra material and LSAT questions given in PS LR book), as you are better off spending your time working on the Easy - Medium difficulty level questions, and the more you practice and get right the better you will become. If you have purcased the Kaplan premier 2013 (which many do just for free CAT's) or a Princeton review.. then i would recommend going over the CR section given in it, to see whether you are strong at CR. I bought the PS LSAT before i went over the kaplan premier and found that i was naturally very good at logic reasoning, as my career involves quite a bit of deductive reasoning and i love to read.

I went over the MGMAT 5th edition CR book that one of my study partner is studying, and it is also quite good and it comparable to the PS material.

For R.C. i would not recommend buying anything to begin with. Go over the book of your choice for Critical Reasoning, then try to go over this forum to look for which RC strategy works best for you and try questions from the OG. RC is more about stamina and reading than strategy although their are definitely some time saving tricks that one can apply. Try to read articles from the Wall street Journal, Economist, Time magazine, Nat. Geographic mag etc and try to write 1-2 line Summaries for each paragraph. The rest is just using the skills you acquire from your CR material to answer questions .
