However, Should it be a Powerscore CR book for GMAT or Manhattan CR book?

I Read the Powerscore Logic Reasoning book (LSAT), but it is quite identical to the CR book for GMAT. The only reason i bought it was because i was getting it for around 10$ from a person who had finished the LSAT and was offloading some books so i didnt have to wait to order it online. I have seen the 5th edition CR book by MGMAT but havent read it in detail, but from what i saw i was impressed. Personally pick either one (although i have heard that the 5th edition CR by MGMAT is quite superior to the 4th edition which was considered inferior to the PS CR, so if you must go for MGMAT make sure it is the 5th edition).

For you i would recommend the Power score CR book because i have read their material in detail and it is more than adequate to tackle any problem you may ever come across , even the toughest CR problems on the GMAT.

How is your quant coming along? I take my GMAT in Feb. and so far just went over the material (MGMAT, Kap Premier, Kap 800 and MGMAT Adv. Quant ) once and attempted OG and a few other books. Took a couple of Paper diagnostics and currently am estimated to be between 42-45 in quant and need a 3 to 5 point boost with 2 to three months to go..Will be taking my diagnostic CAT in a couple of days to see how far i am into my desired score and how much work i need in the next two to three months...

Hi Vomhorizon,

I have taken a long leave (I would resign ;) ) from my job.

So, I have plenty of time with me as such (Hope not to waste)

I am planning to start my own small consultancy (If wishes were.... :D )

And as far as my quants is concernec, I am working on it....have joined a course here and it's going good.

I am planning to get the MGMAT and the OG 13th edition by this month end (1 rep B-) )

I do one RC everyday (To stay confident)

Next month, I would go full steam on Verbal and revise Quants (2nd rep)

In January I would start giving my tests (MGMAT 6 tests and a few others)....month end I am planning to go for GMAT.

Feb 1st week I join a power project..............Phewww.......hope this works

Lemme know if you have any suggestions.....

Regards,

Achu

If you're tired of books, you can get video explanations for RC passages here:

https://www.gmatpill.com/practice-questi ... -guide-rc/

After all, reading a book on how to read can be a catch-22. So if it doesn't work for you, try something else.
