This might be a situation where an alternative transcript would come I'm handy. However, if you can get a good GMAT score, something above Booth's average (719, I believe), that should be enough to lay to rest their concerns about your intellectual ability. If the low gpa is the biggest (or only) weakness of your application, you'll be in good shape.

You might reach out to cheetarah1980. I believe she overcame a low gpa when she got into Booth (and Kellogg and Wharton lol).

Hi

I recently realized I wanted to do an MBA but i have a 2.9 gpa (aprox.) given I studied at México
I currently work and for the past 2 years at an Impact Investment fund and accelerator.

I know everyone lists 4-5 school, but I would really love to go to Booth, given my current boss talks highly of the program

Did your school grade on the U.S. 4.0 scale or did it have a different grading system that you are translating? If the latter, how were your grades compared to your peers? Were they above average? strictly mediocre? or ?

Thanks,
Linda
