If you're really gunning for management consulting, you're going to have to focus on the top 16 schools, since that is where the majority of the mgmt consulting recruiting will happen (i.e. that is where the firms will focus most of their recruiting).
Also, limit the number of schools to 5-6, or else you will dilute your efforts across too many schools -- your chances at any one school are actually better by focusing on less schools - but schools where you are a good fit for, rather than taking a scattershot approach.
I trust that you can do your research on this -- go through all the schools' career reports, find out which ones have strong management consulting recruiting, etc.
As for your chances overall, I'd say that you're sort of in range -- schools in the top 8 (Wharton, Booth, etc.) are likely going to be stretches - you'll need some real luck on your side on top of exceptional applications. Schools in the bottom half of the top 16 (Cornell, Yale, NYU) are schools where you'll be competitive for - where you have a reasonable shot. As for schools outside of the top 16 like Texas, Georgetown, etc. -- you should have a pretty good shot of getting in so long as your applications are strong -- but as for specific schools in this range you'll have to do your research in terms of mgmt consulting recruiting.
