Hi Bunuel,
I am confused about when a job can be stated just as 1, or when it needs more information... For instance, in this problem, if we consider that filling a pool is a job (regardless of the pool's capacity):
1=(x+y)*20
1=y*t
And solving for t knowing that x=30 is possible (which would lead me to choose B). There are many problems that state a "certain job" and I'd just think if its 100% completed (1) or if the job is partially completed (then I'd use a fraction).
Could you help me?
