MAcc/MS in Accounting for non-business/non-accounting major [#permalink]

Hi all,

I recently graduated from college with a Bachelor of Arts degree. I would like to get a master's degree in accounting.

But I did not take any calculus courses as an undergrad, so I am not sure how to go about applying to MAcc programs/MSA programs.

Please advise.

Thanks!

Does anyone have experience interviewing for the MSA program at SJSU?

I have an interview this week and I'm pretty nervous since interviewing is one of my greatest weakness. Any information about the

MSA interview, the types of questions, or application will be appreciated.

Thank you so much!!

Sorry if you wanted a definite answer, but while I have not interviewed with them, I can almost guarantee they will ask why you wish to go into accounting now, and why you wish to go to SJSU specifically. For the latter, you can probably say it's the smart choice given geographic location, cost, and job placement. For a state school, SJSU has pretty good recruitment.
