I am in between to rivers now, need to swim to cross one of them and I know each of them will take a lot of effort from me to finish.
I did my bachelor's at an english speaking business school located in a non english speaking environment. I had a big exposure to US education system as the curricula was developed based on U of Michigan Business school one, though lectures were delivere by local lecturers and some guys from the US itself.
After graduation, although did not adore, I joined a commercial bank as a treasury specialist and mostly involved with interbank deposits, corporate bonds (investments), FX and so on. Not in a big volume. (1 year)
Then, came to the UK to study, but did not as started working as a sales consultant in retail. but have always read finance and accounting books to keep up with updates or just to keep myself refreshed. (1 year)
I am now planning to do what i have wanted so far. Accounting. I studied US GAAP. Recently got admitted to a uk uiversity, they do not teach us GAAP which i like. thus just deferred it.
I noticed that, US universities offer MBA in accounting and MSc in accounting or MAcc. I do not know what to choose and which is good for me to land a job at one of the Big 4 upon graduation. I will apply to Baruch and BYU.
What would be the best decision? Going for MBA in Acc. or MSc in Acc.
