Quick question to those who've already been interviewed: Does HBS let you know who's exactly going to interview you? (For off-campus interviews)

SO FAR:
Dee herself in SF (nice trip)
Hil and Lauren in MP
Quinn in Paris
Good ol Charlie in NYC
Lamb et al in London (I think)
TBD
Dubai/Mumbai, dunno yet, but could be same gals as last coupla rounds: Lucas and Jennet
Shanghai: Chang
DK
Sao Paulo --maybe Dee in Rodeo gear

hmmmm, having done 60 (not a figure of speech) mock interviews so far THIS ROUND and gotten feedback on lots of them, mostly nothing really new except this, "do you think you will get bored reading 500 cases?"
and of course wild-man Charlie in NYC, of tell me what you want to start doing, keep doing and stop doing fame with corkers like this:

What would your high school best friend say are your 3 strengths? 2 weaknesses?
College roommate - 3 strengths, 2 weaknesses?

I wouldnt spend hours answering that, Charlie is back on the Highline, NYC interviews are over, and no one else seems to have taken the bait.
Intermittent HRH question, "what is a stereotype about your [country, business, etc] that is true and what is a stereotype that is not true?"

Superlative mega account of interview w. Her Majesty right here, this is what it is like:

Hi Sandy,

Just got out of my interview with Dee Leopold. Double down! It was exactly as advertised: very intense, rapid-fire, with many follow-up questions and then abrupt changes in direction. Many times she asked for multiple examples of something and then seemed satisfied after the first and moved on. The questions were very specific to my application. You nailed a bunch of them.

Interviews come in all shapes and sizes, so while you can never totally predict which questions will or will not be asked, you can safely bet that certain popular questions will likely make an appearance (like "Why this MBA program," "Walk me through your resume," and the infamous "Tell me about your weaknesses.").

And when those questions are asked, you need to have an answer ready.

That’s why we’ve created Perfect Answers to MBA Interview Questions, your free guide to how best to approach the most popular interview questions.

Remember, a more prepared interviewee is a more confident and more impressive interviewee. Let's make sure that when you walk into that interview, you're as prepared as possible.

I had a great experience with an interview prep / mock interview service. I decided to invest in that instead of the GMAT prep courses and materials, knowing that interviewing was my weaker area. Ended up with offers from my top two targets and $$$ from one. The connections I made with other MBAs through the service helped enormously during FY recruiting. For reference, I'm a female MBA who was recruiting for startups / VC in New York and San Francisco.

Not sure if my coach is still offering mock interviews, but happy to discuss the process with gmatclub members. Just message me.

And we also have lots of free resources to share. Three of my favorite MBA interview tips articles are here:
First- think like an adcom member to address the things they are thinking about- but might not ask you directly: https://stratusadmissionscounseling.com ... interview/

Second, some basic tips for MBA interviews here: https://stratusadmissionscounseling.com ... nterviews/
