Guys, do you mind sharing your scholarships and countries so that I can assess whether I can negotiate mine based on my financial need

I am coming from Armenia, where the average annual salary is around 7000 dollars. I was a bit surprised that I was not offered even a small scholarship based on need

I was also admitted through expedited decision and received an email today that mentions that I have received a scholarship. However, my admission letter does not reflect that as it is still the old one from the expedited decision.

Does it mention amount as well? When did you receive this mail?

It does not include an amount. I received the email just after the zoom invite.

In your decision letter, "Activate your NetID" is a hyperlink. Click on it and it should take you to the portal.

I guess those of us who got expedited decisions will have to wait for the new admit letters to be issued then

Will there be any scholarship later or the admit letter is what it is finally?

A friend of mine asked them about scholarship yesterday after the decision and received this reply:
"Both merit-based and need-based scholarships are awarded at the time of admission. If you received a scholarship award during the admissions process, you will find a scholarship letter in your application portal, else you’ve not received any scholarship"

How about scholarships from T12-T20? Will that be leverage enough?

It may work but they say don’t bring a knife to a gun fight

So you can say you have hardship and really want Kellogg but realistically may not be able to pay for it while Ross gave you a Full ride

Honestly, I applied only to Kellogg in US schools and got through. So I don’t have that luxury

My profile - Indian, Finance turned fintech product manager, 710 gmat, 8 yr WE. Wanted to go for only 1Y program, so only Kellogg fits my bill.

He might be busy. It’s better to wait for 3-4 days and then reach out to him through mail again politely. Asking if he is doing alright or not or do you need to send the meeting link.

Hey, sorry to jump the gun (am a R2 hopeful anxiously waiting for Tuesday) but I was wondering if it has been communicated when the R2 admitted students weekend might be? Trying to make some travel plans and don’t want to double-book myself. Thanks!

Hello! Does anyone know how Northwestern University Loan work? All financial aid applications are due on April 1st. I saw two application options in CAESAR. One is KSF Application and the other is NU Loan Option. When I selected NU Loan, the only school year available is 2022-2023, clearly not applicable to this upcoming school year. However, if I choose KSF option, the application requires me to specify lender information. Is it here that I enter NU Loan as the lender?

Yes. You select Northwestern as a loan provider. That will do and mentioning NU loan as loan provider is must for being considered as NU loan recipient.
