If you are seeking employment in the US Midwest or Mid Atlantic/Northeast Ross and Darden are probably the more logical choices. For one thing, they have much more established and deeper alumni connections than the Oxbridge MBA programs in those regions. For many North American students, the experience of studying overseas (and for only one year) would probably be very rewarding but the downside is that some US employers might not know what to make of a business degree from the UK schools. This really depends in part on how cosmopolitan the employers in your target region are- some might find a degree from the UK schools to be a sign of your ability to adapt to different cultures and learn from some of the best academic institutions in the world, others might find the fact that a candidate traveled thousands of miles for an MBA when high quality schools are available in driving range downright bizarre.
