@ "the value of ..." is singular ---> C, D and E stand.
@ the correct comparison is "twice as much .....as " ---> D and E stand.
@ what "is paid"? for sure it can't be "most corporations" --> E is the last to stand firm.

Most corporations pay twice as much to .....as they pay to .....

E ??

'is' as it refers to value and 'as' because 'as much to X as to Y' is, I think, the correct idiom.

man I dunno. stuck btwn D and E. I wanna say E b/c "pay" is || w/ pay at the begining, but they seems ambigious, could refer to full-time employees.

Obviously, elim A,C b/c lack of "as" and B needs more than just "as".

Ima go wild and say D.

I pick C, straight off the bat.

'value' is singular, therefore we need 'is'. We need 'than they pay to..' to maintain ||ism and meaning not 'than to'.

I was too hasty!! 'As much to A, as they do to B' is the correct idiom. So now I'll go with E instead of C.

E

So we need the verb 'is', not 'are', as we are talking about the 'value' ... that allows us to eliminate A and B.

The next part is just looking for the right idiom form, namely 'the pay twice as much to X ... as they pay Y ... "
