For the gasoline cost to be maximum.
We have to take the cost of gasoline per gallon to be MAXIMUM, i.e. 95 cents.
Mileage to be min. i.e. 20 miles.
And Trip of 9000 miles.

Cost = 9000*95/20 = 450*95 = 450(100-5) = 45000-2250 = 42750 cents. or 427.5$.

B is the answer.
