Hi all,

I would like to know the major different focus in the curriculum between these 2 programs.
And what are the different jobs that one can get with these either of the degrees?

Thanks.

I would focus on the specific program as opposed to the degree title.

This might provide some help regarding employment prospects:

I would agree, there is not much continuity between degree titles, you might study identical material or possibly the programs might be polar opposites. I would venture to guess that most programs assemble any two to three words in any order from

Engineering
Mathematical
Statistical
Computational
Quantitative
Risk

and then tack on Finance somewhere....

One of my favorites is Florida State University - MS Mathematical Finance including Quantitative and Computational Finance.
