My GMAT Horror Story: 590 Q:42 V:29 (help!)

Well just came back from my test:

AWA: I finished my first essay, without incident. At the end of my second essay disaster srruck. I hit the submit button and the computer crashed! I alerted the administrator she rebooted my system. I had to rewrite the second essay! Not a problem I figured, I got even more time and a second chance to refine it. I rewrote it and submitted.

Quant.: Much like some of the experiences I have read before, I made the classic mistake of devoting time to my sticking question around Q:12; a perm/comb. I had to rush through the rest of the questions and finally with 3 mins left I had 8 questions to do! I guessed half and attempted the easier ones to finish. Contemplated cancelling at this point.

Verbal: Much better, or so I thought! I worked through the verbal, around question 5 I got 2 RCs back to back about 40 & 60 lines respectively. I managed to finish the rest of the test with about 30 secs to spare.

I decided to publish the scores just to establish a benchmark. Thought I'd maybe scored a 670-700. Wrong! I published the scores and saw the dreaded 590. I got 29 in verbal which was the lowest verbal score I ever received in any practice test Kaplan, PP, 800Score.

I'm still trying to figure out what happened. I'm going to re-so it in a month's time. I'm sure I could do much better if the practice tests are any indication of gmat potential. My score history is below. Any suggestions? Help!!!

Kaplan: 570 (dia); 620, 640, 670, 640
800Score: 640, 690, 670, 710
PP: 710 (2 weeks before exam); 740 (3 days before exam)
Paper test #14: 730

The plan:
-Re-do the OG.
-Work every question on this website.
-Get more paper tests and do them all.
-Hit the LSAT past tests hard.

The good news is that I'm on vacation for the next three weeks (supposed to be my celebration vacation); but it's looks like 1 week of rest then GMAt 24/7. I hope the rest of you can take note of my example and avoid making similar mistakes. The saga continues....
