How much do interviews weigh in the final decision making?

It's usually a good sign if you get invited to interview. I'm not sure how much weight they carry for the particular programs you've mentioned.

In general, once you've been invited to interview, it means you've made the first cut (meaning several applicants not invited to interview will get dinged while you are still in the game).
