I will not post my GMATPrep scores because they do not reflect the real thing (because I've taken them many many times)
Now lets get to the point :
No matter what I try, I usually spend too much time on especially CR and RC questions. I average CR questions to : 2-2.5 minutes. But If I spend that much of time I'm generally good at that and I think I can get a good correct rate. SC is really good.
When it comes to RC, I may be the slowest test taker ever. I almost read every sentence twice, and try to take notes meanwhile. And this really started to get boring. My RC rate is almost always between 30% - 70%.
I will be taking exam on 25/9, and because of the above mentioned RC questions problem, I now consider whether to apply a new method concerning RC questions. Here is my prospective method :
I will take the first RC passage seriously because it will probably show up in the first 10 questions. but in the latter RC Passages I'm planning either to read only the first and last sentences of the passages and try to give an answer according to, or to totally make a guess without even reading. But all my guesses will be the same answer choice to increase my chances. (for example I will pick "C" for all 4 questions). Well, I know It sounds too illogical to do that, but with this, I will be able to spend more time on a CR question.
The problem is whether I can have a 700+ score with this method.
I need your opinions about this method. Please tell me something. Good or bad
Thanks!
