Need help choosing study material to learn basics of Quant [#permalink] New post  20 Aug 2014, 18:51
I have recently started studying for the GMAT .Currently Im reading OG13 guide.
Can someone suggest me some good study material to learn the basics of the Quant and master the
techniques required to solve problems in less time.
I want to study Quant using single book as it will save my time.

OG will only give you practice questions. To work on basics, you need to go through a full set of curriculum. Check out our teaching methodology and strategies here: http://www.veritasprep.com/gmat/

At the end of this page, there are links to one of our videos, one of our books, and one of our practice tests - which you can try.

It will be very hard to find one single book that covers every GMAT topic but the set will do it.

I would recommend MGMAT quant guides to really freshen up the basics. These books are very easy to go through and might seem too easy at first, but going through these questions will allow you to strengthen your fundamentals. Personally I also believe that doing some easier questions will also decrease the chances of making careless errors.
