Hi Everyone,

This is my first post to GMAT Club seeking help for the DS section. Could someone share very basic guide for GMAT DS.

Hi,

What help are you looking for?
Can you elaborate a bit?
Is there any particular topic in which you are looking for help? Or is it in general?
DS consist of 1 questions with 2 statements. STAT1 and STAT2
If A alone is sufficient then answer is A
If B alone is sufficient then answer is B
If Both together are sufficient then answer is C
IF both alone are sufficient then answer is D
If both together are NOT sufficient then answer is E

How do you approach DS
Starting simplifying the Question statement and consider STAT1
IF (you are able to find the answer with STAT1 itself)
{
then only A or D are the possible answer choices
IF (You are able to find the answer with STAT2 also)
else
}
else IF (You are able to find the answer with STAT2)
{
}
else IF(You are able to find the asnwer with STAT1 and STAT2 together)
else

Hope it helps!
