C is correct

it should be "such extraoridnary", not "so" ... so A B and E are out

Amongst C and D, "of the kind today's have" is wrong. C is clear and concise.

Yes C is clear.

The idiom is "such extraordinary fees." To my native ear, that sounds normal, whereas "so extraordinary fees" does not sound good at all.

only C has correct idiom for comparison: such...as
