I'm going to study for the GMAT test, but actually I don't know how to start , I purchase A kaplan book "GMAT comprenhesive program", is a 2007 edition, I purchased two years ago but I stopped study and now that I'm goping to start again I don't know how to do it. any sugestions?????

It really depends on when you're planning to take the GMAT and how much time you're willing to spend to study for it. The OG 12 is a must though.

Don't fall into the pitfalls of using a book that covers all the subjects generally as a study guide.
Get books that specialize hard in one area....

I would suggest you to start with some general book and then to concentrate on specific areas depending on your needs.
