If you have some money to spare then spend on course work in value for money - eGMAT is cheap and ok sorts. TTP is pricier but better course work. Apart from that definitely buy and work on OG. GMAT forum quiz + OG could be a good budget option with YouTube lectures

Let me start with Tip #1.
GMAT Club has lots of resources and tools we have built over the years. One of the core resources is the timer. Each Quant and Verbal question on GMAT Club has the timer that tells you the difficulty of the question (from 5% to 95%) these are percentiles and basically anything higher than 50% is hard since people traditionally tend to discuss and post harder questions. If you use the timer, the results will be saved into your Error Log and provide you with some stats and details about your success/progress. You can also add notes to each of the questions.

To use the timer, click the Play Button ▶ to start the timer. The clock will start ticking
Try to fit into the 2-min interval if you can. When you are ready to submit your answer, click one of the answer choices A, B, C, D, or E.
The timer will record your answer and show you the correct answer. It will also save your result into the error log.

Their channel covers a lot, from Verbal/Quant topics to general GMAT strategy, to tips and common mistakes as well. No, you do have to buy individual guides. However, most people end up getting all of them for extra practice. However, you can get away with just the main guide. You can get that to start. Has about 700 questions or smth like that. The sectional ones have 200-300 each.

There are a few new questions and a few dropped questions in each newer edition.. I’d say about 80% are the same. You can check which all are the new questions under “OG directory” here on GC.

Braintree is right - it is usually about 10% of questions that get changed year over year (there have been no changes since 2021 by the way; 2022 version is a reprint of 2021) so at most there will be 30% changes but it is not really important to have the latest edition if you have the 2018 one.

Hi. The 2 courses are pretty different. Magoosh is focusing on the 80-90% of key items that you are most likely to attempt. TTP is very thorough and they believe in thorough prep so that you are prepared to face any question. There are pros and cons to both approaches. Magoosh course is shorter and more manageable. TTP is more thorough but takes longer.

I would say try both for a few days and see if you would be more likely to perform/use either one. It is helpful if you can enjoy or at least not hate your prep process. Will make you go longer and be more likely to help you succeed. Sometimes that’s more important than the material you are studying or how much you are studying

I would say get to the structure that egmat has. I am using that. Has helped me a lot. In understanding the questions mostly. They have small tests at the end of each subject/ topic, so you understand, and then you can continuously practice form their set.

Any suggestions on how I can get kudos?
Asking or begging for kudos is "not allowed" on this forum and people don’t really give kudos no matter how much you help them so helping others out thinking that they might give you kudos is also a waste of time.
I think most of the people who have kudos on here got them by posting questions but now literally all the questions out there have already been posted on here so I simply can’t figure out how to get kudos. my profile says I need 15 kudos to get to the next level but I don’t know how to get kudos.
Can anyone from the mods or anyone else please suggest?

Got ya. For online GMAT courses, there are quite a few, depending on what you are looking for and what style:

Most Extensive:
1. eGMAT - great product for non-native speakers, focusing on Verbal specifically. Lots of questions and materials and 24/7support
1. TTP - many recommend it, esp for Quant (very extensive Quant course material and similarly growing verbal). You pay on a monthly basis which makes it cheaper or more expensive, up to you

Best ROI for your Time
3. Magoosh - a more compact intensive course that does not go as deep as TTP or eGMAT but instead focuses on saving you time while hitting the most important aspects. You save 30-50% of time though at a score trade off. Great if you are looking not to spend 3-6 months but want to be done faster and move on with life but not the right fit if you want maximum possible score.

4. GMAT Whiz - offer a fresh platform with lots of practice questions and 24/7 support
5. ScoreLeap - probably the most affordable course
4. Experts' Global - they have GMAT tests as well as course plans

My suggestion would be to try all of the courses and get a sense of which one works best for you. All of them have a free trial. It is not so much about picking the perfect course (there is no such thing as a perfect course for everyone) but there are courses that are better for some people than others - you may like the colors, style, or video organization better. It is all about how much effort and work you put into the course and your GMAT Preparation. That is what determines the result more so than the course you pick. If you don't study, no matter the tool, you won't succeed So try them, pick the one that you feel most comfortable with and esp if one that motivates you to keep going and motivates you to do better and keep studying. That is important!

bb, I think you and I, shockingly, share some opinion on best-in-class services. TTP and Magoosh are fine in my mind. I’ve heard good things about Empower from Souvik (didn’t see them on your list). At the end of the day, you have to find a program that works for you and speaks to you -- you’ll know it when you see it
